JK Tyre JETRACING To Show-Off Its Truck Tyre At T1 Prima Racing
The second season of Tata T1 Prima Truck Racing Championship, commences on 14th to 15th of March, 2015. Truck racing would not be successful without JK Tyre, who is developed special tyre for this event.
JK Tyre is a leader in truck radial technology and motorsport leader in India. The Indian tyre manufacturer has developed ‘JETRACING' tyre specifically for T1 Prima Truck. This tyre is highly recommended among truck drivers for its grip and reliability.
Arun K Bajoria, President and Member of the Board of Directors, JK Tyre & Industries Ltd. commented, "Although we were excited to know that the PRIMA race truck are 10% faster with a speed of up to 130 kph compared to 110 kph last year, we took it upon ourselves to develop higher specs tyres."
He further added, "The latest tyre has been developed using new design technique of ‘Tapered tread profile' completed with ‘HE wire' and ‘special wire wrap', these tyres are capable to run up to a speed of 160 kph."
Racing is a different concept all together and for the common man there is no difference between any two tyres. JETRACING tyre is unique as it has been optimised for improved cornering on race circuits. They have provided asymmetric shoulders with rounded outer shoulder for balance and lateral stability.
Tata Motors has confirmed that they will be organising a third edition of truck racing in India. The added advantage will be that in season 3 Indians will be able to participate as well. Tata T1 Prima Truck Racing Season 2 will have 12 truck drivers competing for top honours.
