J.D. Power Asia Pacific Showcases Indian Vehicle Dependability
New models are constantly being added into Indian markets and most of these vehicles are also exported to international markets. Quality, safety and reliability are major concerns.
J.D. Power Asia Pacific does research on several aspects of vehicles. Now here is the report of newer models showing improvement in long term vehicle dependability in India.
This is the eighth year of this study and they have measured problems from original owners. Problems are divided into nine categories across 169 different problems.
Mohit Arora, Executive Director at J.D. Power Asia Pacific, Singapore, said, "Improvements in styling, material usage and build quality on models that were newly introduced at the time of purchase are helping enhance perceptions of durability with respect to vehicle exterior."
He further added, "Additionally, with improved engine technologies that provide better fuel efficiencies, car owners are reporting fewer engine-related problems."
The study included 65 models which fit into 13 vehicle segments. For more details and information on the study done by J.D. Power Asia Pacific Click Here.
