Infiniti Reveals Q60 Concept Prior To 2015 Detroit Motor Show
The Detroit Motor Show is scheduled to be held on 12th of January to 25th of January, 2015. Several manufacturers will be getting concept vehicles to showcase at the show. It is also known as the North American International Auto Show.
Infiniti has revealed to us an image of their Q60 concept, which is to be unveiled at 2015 Detroit Auto Show. They are positioning it as a premium sports coupe. The vehicle has aggressive styling along with smooth flowing lines as well.
Alfonso Albaisa, Infiniti Executive Design Director, expressed, "The Q80 Inspiration was an indication of Infiniti's future design language, he Q60 Concept is the next step in the journey."
He further added, "The sweeping lines of the Q80 Inspiration gave the Q60 Concept its coupe silhouette and looks while the Formula One-inspired touches from the Q50 Eau Rouge endowed the coupe with its sports personality."
The Q60 concept borrows several design elements from Infiniti's Formula One project. Aerodynamic package has been developed by Red Bull Racing engineers. Air diffusers in the front has been taken straight from their Formula One race car.
The premium sports coupe model drives on 21-inch wheels that fill up the vehicles wheel arch. Infiniti has taken inspiration from jet turbine blades and get a matte and chrome effect that emphasises the design element of their Q60 concept car.
Infiniti has not provided any details regarding their engine that will power the Q60 concept. We will provide you more details once they officially unveil their vehicle at 2015 Detroit Motor Show.
