India Bound 2015 Chevrolet Trailblazer Launched In Philippines
Chevrolet plans on introducing new products in the Indian market to boost their sales. They will be bringing their Trailblazer SUV to India, which was recently launched in Philippines.
It is currently unclear if Chevrolet will bring the Trailblazer to India as a Completely Built Unit(CBU) or Completely Knocked Down(CKD) state. The manufacturer will offer it only in diesel engine options.
Chevrolet has launched the Trailblazer in Philippines for a starting price of 1.298 million PHP or INR 18,12,000. This SUV is on sale in several other markets and will make its way to India as well.
The Trailblazer will be offered with two engine options by Chevrolet:
- The 2.5-litre diesel mill will produce 163 bhp and 380 Nm of peak torque. It is paired to a 6-speed manual transmission.
- The 2.8-litre diesel mill will produce 200 bhp and 500 Nm of peak torque. It is paired to a 6-speed automatic transmission.
Chevrolet has provided the Trailblazer with LED fog lamps, Daytime Running Lights and headlamps with projectors. The front and rear bumpers showcase the SUV nature of this vehicle.
Interior of 2015 Trailblazer is expected to be more premium than anything on offer by Chevrolet. This SUV has a strong and bold presence and will fit perfectly well amongst Indian rival brands.
