IAC Group CEO Quits; Robert Miller Takes Over
International Automotive Components (IAC) Group has appointed Robert "Steve" Miller as the new President, Chief Executive Officer and as the Director. He will take charge from the 7th of August onwards.
He will take over the position of James Kamsickas, who held the same role and recently quit. Kamsickas will take over as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Dana Holding Corp.
Wilbur Ross, a significant shareholder of IAC said, "I have known Steve for many years and have always had a great deal of respect for his leadership and operating skills."
"Steve's deep background and experience in the automotive industry are a great fit for the business, and will ensure continuity of service to our global customer base."
Miller's career began at Ford. He then joined Fiat Chrysler and also served as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Bethlehem Steel.
Stephen J Toy, the Group Chairman of IAC said, "Steve has a proven ability to lead large-scale global companies and his business expertise and leadership will allow IAC to continue to grow its leading global presence."
