Hyundai ix25 India Reveal Most Likely By Next Month

Hyundai Motors is keen on entering new segments in Indian market. They recently introduced their very first crossover in the country, which has been christened 120 Active.

The Korean automobile manufacturer will be soon launching its small SUV in India. Hyundai ix25 will be revealed by next month in the country prior to its launch.

It was globally unveiled at 2014 Beijing Motor Show and was followed by its launch in Chinese market. Hyundai ix25 is next scheduled to launch in India, where the small SUV has great potential.

In India the Hyundai ix25 will be offered with two diesel and one petrol engine under its hood:

• The first will be a 1.6-litre diesel mill, which will produce 126.19 horsepower and 260 Nm of torque.
• The second will be a 1.4-litre diesel engine, which will generate 88.73 horsepower and 219.66 Nm of torque.
• Third will be a 1.6-litre petrol engine, this mill will develop 121.26 horsepower and 154.94 Nm of peak torque.

All engines will be mated to manual transmissions and an automatic option may be launched at a later stage.

Hyundai ix25 will be feature rich just like their other offerings in India. It will compete against the likes of Nissan Terrano and Renault Duster. Both small SUVs have been in the country for a while without competition.
