Hyundai Elite i20 Special Edition To Be Launched On 1st Anniversary

Hyundai had launched its premium hatchback offering in India almost a year ago. Now to celebrate their 1st anniversary they could be introducing a Special Edition Elite i20.

Special Edition Elite i20 could be launched sometime during next month in India. Hyundai's premium hatchback has witnessed instant success and has been a popular among several Indians.

It is most likely to sport a new colour option, along with minor cosmetic updates. Interior will also be specially treated and is expected to be more premium and luxurious than regular models.

Exact feature list available in Special Edition Elite i20 has not been revealed. It will be launched next month and will be available in limited numbers, thus, making it exclusive and a must buy for Hyundai fans.

Hyundai will offer this Special Edition Elite i20 in both petrol and diesel engine options:

• A 1.2-litre Kappa petrol engine with Dual VTVT produces 82 horsepower and 115 Nm of torque. It will be available only with a 5-speed manual transmission.
• A 1.4-litre U2 CRDi diesel engine produces 89 horsepower and 220 Nm of torque. It will be available only with a 6-speed manual transmission.
