Hyundai Creta Registers 75,000 Bookings In India Within 5 Months

Hyundai launched the Creta compact SUV in India approximately five months ago. The Korean automobile manufacturer has now registered a phenomenal 75,000 bookings in the country since launch. Hyundai officials are confident to exceed previous years sales in India during 2015.

The Creta by Hyundai made its global debut in India and is exported to several countries. India is a huge market for Hyundai Motors, with almost 14 percent out of the total sales. Brazil, China, and Russia are also major markets for Hyundai, however, sales are declining in these parts.

The compact SUV segment in India is constantly evolving and several manufacturers plan to enter this segment. Hyundai has introduced its Creta as a premium compact SUV for global markets. The Korean automobile manufacturer plans on introducing a sub-4 metre compact SUV model too.

Hyundai Creta has an important advantage over its competitors. The compact SUV has an automatic gearbox with a diesel engine. Creta is offered with both petrol and diesel engine, along with manual and automatic transmission options.

The Korean manufacturer is set to register high volume sales in India during 2015. Hyundai India has introduced several new models in the country, which has boosted the overall sales. Several new products are expected to arrive in 2016 from Hyundai Motors.
