Hyundai Appoints Maruti Suzuki Executive As VP Production
South Korean carmaker Hyundai has appointed Maruti Suzuki's VP Operation Control, Ganesh Mani as the company's new VP Production, with immediate effect. Mani will report directly to Hyundai's Managing Director Young Key Koo.
Mani was previously Vice President, Operation Control at Maruti Suzuki, where he worked with the company for over 28 years. In his new role, he will be in charge of Hyundai's manufacturing activities in the country.
Mani, has a postgraduate degree in Business Management from Management Development Institute, Gurgaon, and is an alumnus of The Institution of Engineers, Calcutta.
Hyundai currently has two manufacturing facilities near Chennai, where the entire lineup of Hyundai models are made, to cater to domestic as well as international demands. Hyundai vehicles are currently being exported to over 85 countries from India.
