Honda To Debut Pilot SUV At 2015 Chicago Auto Show
The 2015 Chicago Auto Show is scheduled to begin on 12th February, 2015. Several automobile manufacturers will be present at the show with new and interesting products to display. Honda too have confirmed and shared with us a teaser of their unveil.
The Japanese manufacturer will be showcasing an all-new 2016 Pilot SUV. This vehicle by Honda will be capable of accommodating eight passengers across its three rows. The SUV will boast of segment leading technology, safety, fuel economy along family utility and versatility.
The 2016 Pilot SUV will be developed and manufactured in United States. It has been designed taking cues from the recently showcased 2015 HR-V model, which is offered in Europe. The teaser image does not reveal much, however, it showcases similar window styling and roofline to the current generation CR-V.
Jeff Conrad, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Honda Division, commented, "Honda continues to fortify its light-truck lineup in 2015, this time turning our eye to the fast-growing family SUV segment."
He further added, "The new Pilot will raise the bar in a segment it helped to create, with more innovation, style, premium features and family utility than ever before."
Honda will also be showcasing several of its other vehicles and concepts at 2015 Chicago Auto Show. The Japanese manufacturer is expected to reveal details of it upcoming Ridgeline pickup truck. They will be launching their 2016 Pilot SUV this summer in the United States.
