Honda Jazz Sells 9000 Units In The First Month
The first generation Honda Jazz did not do well in India. Determined, the Japanese carmaker relaunched the second generation Jazz and it has sold 9,000 units in its first month itself!
In July sales, the Jazz contributed a large percentage towards Honda's sales in India, having sold 6,676 units, it also sold more than the City.
Jnaneswar Sen, the Senior Vice President of Marketing and Sales at Honda said, "We are extremely happy with the response received for the All New Jazz."
"The Jazz has been able to expand the premium hatchback segment and its volumes will significantly contribute to the growth we are expecting this year."
The Jazz is currently offered in India with a choice of either a petrol or a diesel engine, mated to a manual or a CVT transmission.
