Honda Jazz All New Premium Hatchback India Launch In July
Honda has so far not launched any four-wheeler in Indian market during 2015. They plan on launching their products by mid-2015 to keep things interesting in the market.
The Japanese manufacturer is keen on introducing its premium hatchback for India. It is now confirmed that Honda will officially be launching its all new Jazz on the 8th of July, 2015.
All new Jazz will be offered in both petrol and diesel engine options. Previously it was available only with a single petrol engine. The diesel mill is expected to pull in more buyers.
It is most likely that Honda will provide 2015 Jazz with similar engine that does duty in their Amaze. A 1.2-litre i-VTEC petrol engine and an optional 1.5-litre i-DTEC diesel mill will be provided.
Honda engineers will provide the petrol engine with a 5-speed manual gearbox and an optional 5-speed torque convertor. The diesel engine, however, will be offered only with a 5-speed manual transmission.
Currently the all new Jazz will take on the likes of Maruti Suzuki Swift, Hyundai i20 and Volkswagen Polo. More competition is expected once Suzuki launch their YRA premium hatchback.
In terms of pricing Honda has not revealed this, however, booking for all new Jazz will open soon. We expect the Jazz to be priced between INR 4,90,000 to INR 9,00,000 ex-showroom.
