Honda Cars India has announced that it will be hiking the prices of all cars across its range by up to Rs 16,000 from January. Honda claim that the hike is a response to increased input costs.
Speaking about the price hike, Honda Cars senior vice-president (Marketing and Sales) Jnaneswar Sen told PTI, "We will hike prices in the range of Rs 10,000 — 16,000 from January, depending on the model. The price increase has been necessitated on account of increase in input costs,"
Honda currently sells six cars with prices varying from Rs. 4.23 lakh for the entry-level Brio hatchback to Rs. 23.13 lakhs for the CR-V (all prices, ex-showroom, Delhi).
