Honda Cars Register 18 Percent Sales Growth In July 2015
Honda Cars India Ltd. (HCIL), one of the leading manufacturers of premium cars in India, registered monthly domestic sales of 18,606 units in July 2015 against 15,709 units in the corresponding month last year, registering a growth of 18 percent.
The company cumulatively sold 63,053 units during April - July 15 as against 56,427 units sold during the same period last year, marking a growth of 12 percent.
Speaking on the company's performance Jnaneswar Sen, the Senior Vice President of Marketing and Sales at Honda Cars India Ltd. said, "We are extremely delighted to receive a great consumer response for all new Jazz."
"We would like to thank our customers for the continuous support to all our models and are confident that we will continue to do well in respective segments."
HCIL also exported a total of 614 units during July 2015.
