Honda Cars Display Strong Performance In Sales During February, 2015
India's most loved and trusted brand among automobiles, Honda has done a great job of introducing quality products. The Japanese manufacturer has now announced its February 2015 sales report for its four-wheeler segment.
Honda Cars India Ltd. or HCIL for short has reported that it has sold 1,66,366 vehicles during April, 2014 to February, 2015. During April 2013 to February, 2014 the Japanese automobile manufacturer managed sales of 1,15,913 vehicles. This is a substantial growth of 44 percent for the manufacturer.
The Japanese manufacturer has showcased decent sales figures in India. During February of 2014 the manufacturer sold 14,543 vehicles. Honda have now reported selling 16,902 vehicles during the month of February, 2015. This is an increase of 16 percent in domestic sales.
Overall it has been a successful month for Honda Cars India Ltd., they have witnessed substantial growth during February, 2015. The manufacturer has also exported a few of their vehicles to international markets, which stood at 1,119 vehicles.
Here is a breakdown of the number of models Honda has sold in India. Their Brio did not sell in high volumes with only 1,397 units. Honda's compact sedan the Amaze did well by selling 7,163 units. The ever popular City also shone well in sales figures by achieving sales of 6,505 units domestically.
The Japanese manufacturers first MPV for India, Mobilio sold only 1,697 units. Honda's SUV, the CR-V was also part of their sales achievement by selling 140 units of the model in February, 2015. Their total sales in February, 2015 including domestic sales and exports stood at 18,021 units.
