GM India Recalls Chevrolet Beat, Enjoy & Spark For Safety Reasons
General Motors in India have voluntarily issued a recall of three products due to safety reasons. Approximately 1,55,000 vehicles are affected in this recall across three models.
Models in question for this recall are the Beat, Enjoy and Spark, which were sold between 2007 and 2014. Issue with them is the remote keyless entry system that falls under accessory issues.
Manufacturer has begun notifying Indian customers of this issue with their vehicle. General Motors representative is also guiding vehicle owners how to have their cars inspected and corrected.
No charge will be applied for repairing this fault in customers' vehicles. The Beat, Enjoy and Spark can be repaired at any of 257 General Motors India service stations without any hassle.
Arvind Saxena, President and Managing Director, General Motors India, expressed, "Quality is our highest priority and we are committed to putting customers at the center of everything we do."
He further added, "If there is a potential issue, we ensure that it is corrected as soon as possible as part of our complete commitment to customer satisfaction."
