Has G-Power Built a 1001 Horsepower BMW?
Yep! G-Power has built a BMW M6 Coupe E63 to produce 1001 horsepower. The vehicle has received extensive modifications, although the base of the engine is the same.
The engine is a 5.0-litre V10 that originally produced 494 horsepower and 380 Nm of torque. But G-Power has modified it with twin superchargers and a custom built titanium exhaust to squeeze 1001 horsepower and 900 Nm of torque.
After such extensive modification, the car is now capable of doing 0 to 100 km/h in 4.3 seconds. It touches the 200 km/h mark from a standstill in 9 seconds and the 300 km/h mark in 21.5 seconds!
The car will do a top speed of 300 km/h plus and has a speedometer that reads all the way up to 400 km/h. With all this ‘Going' power, they had to sort out the ‘Stopping' power as well and the 400 mm ceramic disc brakes do a pretty good job.
The car itself is made from carbon-fibre, with lightweight seats that have carbon-fibre backs, Alcantara upholstery and many carbon inserts.
