September is noted as the Global Caring Month and Ford India will be celebrating it. The American automobile manufacturer promises a better world and future environment for us.
Over 14,000 volunteers of Ford India will participate in more than 40 projects. They will include education, health, safety, women empowerment, humanitarian support and environmental sustainability.
Ford Volunteer Corps will be celebrating their 10th anniversary. Their volunteers will provide a platform to broaden the automobile manufacturers focus on community service.
Currently Ford India organises their Happy School program across the country. They will also undertake fun-filled activities, which include Colour-thon, Science Attack and Quiz Hours.
Ford Volunteers will also organise medical camps for children and women. They will also be creating menstrual awareness among adolescent girls. A visit and interaction to charitable organisations will also be held.
Volunteers will also be planting saplings across Ford India dealerships. In Chennai they will be organising a beach clean-up drive at Injambakkam TVS Avenue Beach and will undertake restoration of Selvapuram lake in Coimbatore.
