Ford EcoSport Ranks Highest In 2014 India Initial Quality Study
Affirming the trust of over 150,000 proud customers around the world, Ford EcoSport emerged as the highest ranked SUV according to J.D. Power Asia Pacific 2014 India Initial Quality Study (IQS).
Nigel Harris, president and managing director along with Raj Sarkar, vice president, Marketing received the coveted recognition at J.D. Power Asia Pacific's 2014 India Automotive Awards Evening held recently.
In the annual initial quality survey conducted by a global research agency, Ford EcoSport registered the least problems for every against competition. With more than 30 awards to its credit, the latest recognition to Ford EcoSport highlights the company's commitment to quality and customer feedback.

The 2014 India Initial Quality Study (IQS) is based on evaluations from 8,429 vehicle owners who purchased a new vehicle between November 2013 and July 2014. The study included 73 vehicle models from 17 makes and was conducted between May 2014 and September 2014 in 30 cities across India.
Now in its 18th year, the study measures problems owners experience with their new vehicle during the first two to six months of ownership and examines more than 200 problem symptoms covering eight vehicle categories:
- Engines and transmissions
- Vehicle exterior
- Driving experience
- Heating, ventilation and air-conditioning
- Features, controls and displays
- Vehicle interior
- Seats
- Audio, entertainment and navigation.
Continuing to set new benchmarks since its launch in 2013, the EcoSport has won the hearts of customers and enthusiasts alike with its robust drive dynamics, exemplary performance along with smart technology and compelling value proposition.
