Ford EcoSport To Provide Combined Benefit Of SYNC & AppLink
Ford EcoSport is the best selling vehicle from the American manufacturers stable. Their compact SUV is filled with gadgets and several safety equipment. The EcoSport was one of the first vehicles to be fitted with SYNC, it helps occupants to access their smartphone applications through voice commands from the vehicle.
Now SYNC with Ford AppLink will be provided on the EcoSport Titanium trim. The AppLink allows integration of MapMyIndia, Glympse and ESPN Cricinfo. The American manufacturer currently offers this system in its Fiesta sedan and is providing it in its EcoSport as it is the Cricket World Cup Season and Indians love their cricket.
Anurag Mehrotra, Executive Director Marketing Sales and Service, Ford India, commented, "Introduction of Ford AppLink enhances the value proposition offered by Ford EcoSport. Consumers today are leading an increasingly connected lifestyle and wish to stay up-to-date even while on the move.
He further added, "Ford AppLink addresses this unmet need and helps them stay connected without ever compromising on convenience." The manufacturer also stated that they are working with several app partners in India to add more apps to Ford AppLink.
The inclusion of Ford AppLink in the Indian EcoSport proves that the manufacturer is taking the market seriously. SYNC has been developed to improve safety, convenience and connectivity within a vehicle.
Ford offers its titanium model EcoSport with both petrol as well as diesel engine options. Since its launch the compact SUV has won several awards in India. The vehicle has highly appreciated by several customers and is currently the manufacturers best selling product.
