Ford Demonstrates How It's Cars Can See Around Corners
Ford is constantly innovating and introducing new safety features to their vehicles across the globe. Now they have developed a feature that allows its vehicle to see around corners.
The American manufacturer has equipped its vehicles with a camera that is attached to the front and offers a 180 degree viewing angle. Ford is calling this feature as their Front Split View Camera.
The video from Ford's Front Split View Camera is projected on a large 8-inch screen. It can be activated simply by pressing a button and offers clear image quality for safer manoeuvres.
It will provide drivers with better confidence and safety in mind while crossing a blind corner. This system will also come handy in narrow street lanes and while getting in and out of parking spots.
Currently Ford Front Split View Camera is available only on their Galaxy, S-Max and Edge Titanium models in Europe. It is available as an option and is priced at 400 Pounds for both front and rear cameras.
