Ford Backs SAMVAD At 2015 Jaipur Literature Festival
The 2015 Jaipur Literature Festival is back on 21st to 25th of January. Ford India will be lending their support to SAMVAD. It is a meaningful conversation between children and adults. The American manufacture wants to show the importance of holistic education for the coming generation.
Ford India has already launched their ‘Happy Schools' program at last year's Jaipur Literature Festival. The manufacturer joins hands with several NGOs to bridge the said gaps between each school and their children. They also provide academic support, health, nutrition along with infrastructure requirements.
Their primary goal is to inspire future generations in India through means of conversation. During the 2014, Ford SAMVAD present popular faces were Astan Deboo, Dayanita Singh, Prasoon Joshi and many others. The American manufacturer is the official sponsor of the event in 2015 as well.
Ford will be hosting a contest which, will commence on 16th to 18th of January, 2015. Individuals are expected to provide short write ups of their school day experience from tester years. The contest will be known as ‘HappySchoolTales and entries can be dropped at Ford India Twitter or Facebook pages.
To be present at this year's 2015 SAMVAD sponsored by Ford are DR. APJ Abdul Kalam, Girish Karnad, Prasoon Joshi, Ibukun Olatunji, Devdutt Pattanaik, Pallava Bagla, Cat Weatherill and many more.
