Force Motors Plans On Setting Up Facility In Chakan, Pune
India's leading manufacturer of three-wheelers, light commercial vehicles, tractors, buses, heavy commercial vehicles, multi-utility and cross country vehicles. Force Motors is planning on setting up a new facility in Chakan, Pune.
This new facility of Force Motors is expected manufacture axles, engines, gearboxes and many more components. The Pune facility will have an annual capacity of producing 50,000 components.
Force Motors Board Members have given the nod to go ahead with a new facility. The manufacturing company already owns property in Chakan, Pune, however, they have to acquire permission for building their new facility over it.
During 2014, Force Motors had announced that it would be investing INR 1,000 crore over a period of four years in several projects. Among these there were talks of a special facility, which would cater to assembly of BMW engines.
Currently the Indian manufacturer has two facilities across India. The first is in Pithampur, Madhya Pradesh, while the second facility is in Pune. Force Motors currently offers two cars to Indian buyers they are the Gurkha and Force One utility vehicles.
