Force India Last To Debut Their 2015 Formula One Car
Force India had earlier revealed only their livery for 2015 Formula oNe championship. They had showcased their new colours on their 2014 car and would debut their new vehicle at a later stage. The Indian owned team is the last to debut their 2015 competition vehicle.
The last pre-season testing is on its way and Force India has debuted their new Formula One vehicle. On friday, which was the second day of testing at Barcelona circuit they set their new car on the tarmac for the very first time.
They have christened their 2015 Formula one car as the ‘VJM08'. The team handed the vehicle to their German driver, Nico Hulkenberg, who will put the car to its pace. Team mate Sergio Perez will have a single day behind the wheel of his new vehicle.
Force India has grown steadily in the Formula One championship. During the 2014 championship they fought with several top teams and settled for sixth place in constructors title. They were only 26 points adrift McLaren and were one of the six teams to score triple digit points.
Pre-season testing is still dominated by Mercedes duo Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton. 2015, however, looks like there will be stiffer competition and more teams and drivers fighting for the top spot on the podium.
The Formula One season opener will be held in Melbourne, Australia on 14th and 15th of March, 2015. Marussia have confirmed that they will be a part of 2015 championship. They have acquired Will Stevens as their sole driver and will announce their second driver soon.
