Ferrari Issues Stop Sale Notice On 488 GTB Over Fire Risk In The US

Ferrari has issued a stop-sale notice to its US dealers regarding the 488 GTB due to a fuel leak issue that may lead to a fire.
The problem stems from the low-pressure fuel line that may not have been connected properly to the feed pipe of the fuel pump. This could lead to a fuel leak in the engine bay which could lead to a fire.
The issue is the same problem that lead to Ferrari recalling 185 units of the Ferrari California T earlier this week. However, this time there has been no need for a recall as the cars are still with the dealers. Dealers will need to replace the fuel line assembly before the affected units of the 488 GTB can reach the hands of owners.
