Volvo Launches Largest Multiaxle Dump Trucks At EXCON
Volvo Trucks launches two new large capacity multiaxle dump trucks at 2015 EXCON in Bangalore. FMX 520 10x4 dump truck with 26.1 Cu.m body and FMX 480 10x4 dump truck with 24 Cu.m body. Both new products will be used in coal mining activities in the Indian market.
Present at 2015 EXCON to unveil Volvo trucks was Pierre Jean Verge Salamon, President, Volvo Group Trucks India. Volvo is confident of coal mining operations to increase within the next five years and they want their products to be readily available.
Indian Government plans on increasing coal production in the country by one billion tonnes. Volvo is anticipating this boom in coal mining operations by 2020 in the Indian market. Both new products will take care of the demands of future coal demands in the country.
Trucks from Volvo are the most technologically sound products. Volvo vehicles are termed as the safest products globally, they have followed this philosophy even with their trucks. Volvo has a 65 percent market share in the country within the high-performance mining sector.
