Deepak Ahuja, Tesla Motors CFO To Retire
Deepak Ahuja, the Chief Financial Officer of Tesla Motors will retire this year, but not before finding the worthy successor for his place. The news was broken by Elon Musk himself.
This news about the company's first CFO, Deepak Ahuja, who served as CFO for Tesla for seven years was brought to light at the company's annual meeting.
The news comes in at the same time as the company is looking at intense growth, at a very rapid pace, and also the company spending with the same pace.
Ahuja said that the choice of retirement was a tough decision to make, but is quite happy since he helped built a much needed solid foundation for the company's long term goal.
In a statement, he said, "My time at Tesla has been a nonstop adrenaline rush. It is time for me to check a few things off my bucket list and pursue other life goals."
Deepak Ahuja was a former executive with Ford Motor Company.
