Datsun Go Plus India TVC; An Extended Parampara
Nissan has introduced its affordable automobile under Datsun branding. Datsun launched their first vehicle in India last year with the Go Hatchback. The Japanese manufacturer had made its intentions clear of launching a bigger version of Go at an affordable price point.
Datsun has launched their second product, which is being positioned as India's first compact family wagon. The Japanese manufacturer has christened their vehicle as Go+. It has been launched in India for a starting price of INR 3,98,055 ex-showroom, Thane and goes up to INR 4,83,693 ex-showroom, Thane.
The Japanese manufacturer of budget cars has launched a new TVC for their Datsun Go+ vehicle. It is an extension of their previous advertisement that claimed their product belongs to ‘Nayi Parampara', it stands for new tradition.
Datsun's new TVC focusses on their new product and all the plus points of it. We especially liked the ending in which, the older generation says that usually you have to wait till your 40 plus to buy a vehicle. To which Ayushmann Khurrana comes out saying ‘I am young and already have a car'.
The message Datsun is trying to give is that, they want more and more young buyers to be attracted to the pricing of their vehicle. In India driving a four-wheeler is considered to be safer than riding a two-wheeler. The Japanese manufacturer is aiming at convincing these buyers to opt for their product, which gives them basic features along with a strong engine at an affordable price.
The Go+ is powered by an in-line three cylinder 1198cc petrol engine. It is capable of generating 68 bhp, along with 104 Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox.Datsun offers a speed-sensitive electric power steering, along with an electronic accelerator pedal.
