Citroen Aircross Concept Heading To Shanghai Motor Show
French automobile manufacturer, Citroen is part of Peugeot Citroen Group. They have now revealed their upcoming SUV concept to us.
Citroen will be present at the Shanghai Motor Show, which will be held from 20th to 29th of April, 2015. The French manufacturer will be showcasing its Aircross concept at at this auto show.
The Aircross concept by Citroen will be showcased for the very first time at Shanghai Motor Show. It is a unique looking SUV and sports typical French design element all over the vehicle.
The Citroen Aircross concept has an unique looking front-end. This SUV sports thin LED as headlights and a long Citroen logo across its front fascia. Also present are two massive air-scoops on the bonnet of this concept.
Side profile of Aircross concept is typical of any SUV model. Citroen designers have provided black plastic cladding to showcase its off-road ability. Also present on the vehicle are large off-road like tyres and roof-rail on the top. We like how the windows merge with each other, adding a dramatic element to this concept.
French designers have gone for a very smooth and simple rear end. The Aircross concept gets nice oval shaped rear lights and large air-scoops on the rear bumper. Citroen has provided their concept with dual exhaust ports lending a sporty touch to the SUV.
The interior looks futuristic in this concept model by Citroen. It is highly unlikely that these seats make it into production. We do like the orange/white colour and would like to see it carry forwarded into their models.
Citroen will provide its Aircross with a plug-in hybrid system. Engineers will provide a 1.6-litre THP petrol engine. The petrol engine will produce 218 bhp and 275 Nm of torque. Electric motor, however, will provide 95 bhp and 200 Nm torque.
