Chevrolet To Hike Model Prices In India By Two Percent
General Motors offers its Chevrolet range of products in India, they are constantly adding and updating their line-up to attract new buyers to their products.
It is most likely to increase their vehicles prices by approximately two percent. This will be to offset the difference between Indian Rupees and U.S. Dollar for purchase of raw material.
Current offering from Chevrolet in India are the following:
- Chevrolet Spark
- Chevrolet Beat
- Chevrolet Sail (hatchback and compact sedan)
- Chevrolet Enjoy
- Chevrolet Cruze
- Chevrolet Captiva
- Chevrolet Tavera
New prices will be announced from July, 2015 onwards and it is most likely to effect complete range of Chevrolet India. So far no pricing details have been revealed and will be provided by next month.
Previously the American based manufacturing unit had hiked prices of their models. That was solely due to Government taking away the excise duty benefit away from manufacturers.
