Chevrolet Issues Recall For 1,01,597 Beat Diesels

Chevrolet will voluntarily recall over one lakh diesel units of the Beat hatchback to replace a faulty clutch pedal lever. The faulty clutch pedal lever may crack with continued usage.
General Motors, the parent company of Chevrolet said that it will replace the clutch pedal lever in 1,01,597 units of the Chevrolet Beat diesel hatch manufactured between December 2010 and July 2014, if it is required. The replacement will be done at no extra cost.
Owners of the vehicles are being notified to take their car to their nearest Chevrolet dealership.
