Bosch Officials Lift Lockout At Jaipur Facility

Bosch has recently announced that it has lifted the lockout, which was set at their Jaipur facility. They have informed Government of Rajasthan that talks have been successful.

There was a talk between Labor department and Union of Bosch Jaipur facility. The employees will stop their hunger strike with immediate effect and have promised withdrawal of their Go-Slow action.

The Go-Slow action by Union has reduced production output by nearly 70 percent. Union has agreed that they will increase output targets to a level soon.

Bosch Limited has made sure that their customers were not affected by this lockout. The production in their facility was ongoing as officers and trainees continued their work even during lockout phase.

Bosch is one of the highest payers in the ration-cum-manufacturing industry. They will work closely with the Union to find a solution for their ongoing wage issue.

Company statement expressed, "Implementation of Industrial Engineering Standards is imperative for optimum utilization of resources, thereby ensuring the plant's competitiveness and its future."

It further added, "Realization of this globally accepted norm at competitive wages is critical to ensure that the Jaipur Plant attracts new products and ensure a sustainable future."
