Hamann And DS Automobile Give The BMW X6M A Makeover
DS Automobile, a Swiss-based tuning company, along with Hamann, a German car tuning company based in Laupheim have been busy with a BMW X6M, trying to create something nice, and they have succeeded.
The result is a Long Beach Blue Metallic BMW X6M, based on the new F86 generation. The Sports Activity Vehicle, as BMW terms the X6, features 23-inch Hamann Anniversary edition Evo black wheels, along with revised bumpers, flared arches, side skirts, side vents, and rear diffuser with integrated tailpipes (exhaust pipes).
DS Automobile is working on performance upgrades for the already powerful BMW X6M. Performance upgrades will also include an exhaust system.
A 4.4-litre powers the standard BMW X6M, twin-turbocharged V8 that produces 560bhp. This is enough to propel the mammoth X6M from a standstill to 100km/h in 4 seconds, thanks to an eight-speed gearbox and BMW's xDrive technology, that delivers power to all four wheels.
One can only be left wondering how much more power can be squeezed out of the engine after DS Automobile does the performance upgrades.
The BMW X6M Coupe retails for just under Rs. 2 crores on-road (Delhi) in India.
