BMW X1M Sport Launched In India For INR 39.7 Lakh
German luxury carmaker BMW has launched the X1M Sport for a price tag of INR 39.7 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The X1M will be offered in one variant only. Based on the X1, which competes against the Audi Q3 and Volvo V40, it has received a few changes.
One very notable change is the new bumper set up and two colour schemes-Alpine White and Le Mans Blue.
As far as the inside is concerned, it gets an 'M' steering wheel wrapped in leather and contrasted stitching for its upholstery. Under the hood, the X1 is equipped with a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder twin-turbo diesel engine that produces 184 PS of power and 380 Nm of peak torque.
The engine helps the vehicle sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.7 seconds, while returning an efficiency figure of 17.05 kpl. The BMW X1M has a ground clearance of 179 mm.
All this power is delivered to the rear wheels through an 8-speed Steptronic transmission with paddle shifters.
Other features include an auto start/stop function, dynamic traction control, brake energy regeneration, run flat tyres and ECO PRO drive mode.
