BMW's High Performance M6 Gran Coupé Launched For A Hefty Price!
The all-new BMW M6 Gran Coupé launched in India on 1 October 2015 priced at INR 1,71 crore ex-showroom (Maharashtra). BMW also launched the BMW M Studio showroom in Mumbai. The is a first of its kind showroom, which will be dedicated exclusively for the retailing of BMW M division performance cars. A concept similar to the Mercedes-Benz AMG Performance Centre, which is dedicated to the sales of the brand's high performance cars.
Powering the M6 Gran Coupé is an 8-cylinder, turbocharged 4,395cc petrol engine. The engine is capable of producing 560 horsepower and 680Nm of peak torque, and a top speed of 250 kph.
The BMW M6 Gran Coupé is a rear-wheel drive car and features a 7-speed M Double Clutch transmission with Drivelogic. Using the Launch Control system, you can achieve 0 to 100 km/h within 4.2 seconds.
BMW M6 Gran Coupé features and mileage explained
The M6 Gran Coupé is equipped with an array of safety features, such as, 6-airbags, M Compound Brakes, M Dynamic Damper, M Dynamic Mode, Active M Differential, Active Protection with Attention Assist and Active headrest (front). Along with these safety features, BMW offers the next generation of BMW iDrive (the on-board Driver Information System) with touch controller, full-colour BMW Head-Up Display with M-specific views, Navigation Professional (integrated Global Positioning System - GPS) with 25.9 cm colour display with 3D maps, Connectivity through Bluetooth and USB devices, Park Distance Control (PDC) rear and front along with rearview camera come as standard.
BMW EfficentDynamics promises superior fuel efficiency of 10.10 km/l. Features like Intelligent Lightweight Construction, brake energy regeneration, 50:50 weight distribution, auto start/stop function make the M6 Gran Coupé as efficient as possible.
Customers can choose from nine metallic exterior colours: Alpine White, Black Sapphire, Silverstone, Space Grey, Jatoba, San Marino Blue, Sakhir Orange, Singapore Grey and Imperial Blue Brilliant Effect.
The BMW M6 Gran Coupé will be offered in India as a Completely Built Unit (CBU). It is currently available across India, exclusively at their premium dealerships.
