BMW India will be bringing its latest performance car-the M2-to the country by mid-2016. The company recently launched the X5M and X6M (performance SUV) models in India. BMW M2 is already on sale in international markets and will be offered in India soon.
Under the hood of the BMW M2 will be a six-cylinder, 3.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine. The engine is tuned to produce 365 horsepower and 465.03Nm of peak torque. BMW will offer the vehicle in India, with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission features like launch control and six driving modes.
The BMW M2 is a rear-wheel drive car and will come with paddle shifters, and a Smoky Burnout function for maximum wheelspin off the line. The M2 can attain a top speed of 250 km/h, which is electronically limited. This performance car can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in a matter of 4.2 seconds.
