BMW 1-Series Sedan To Break Cover At 2016 Auto Expo
German luxury car manufacturer, BMW currently offers its 1 Series hatchback in India. They are most likely to replace it with a sedan version, which will be revealed at 2016 Auto Expo.
German competitors Audi and Mercedes-Benz have already launched their entry-level luxury sedan for India. Now BMW will join the race to regain its number one position in India.
It is most likely that the 1 Series sedan will be offered with similar engines that were provided in its hatchback model. BMW will provide both petrol as well as diesel engines in the upcoming vehicle.
BMW has been extensively testing its 1 Series sedan on the Nurburgring in Germany. The automobile manufacturer wants to provide superior driving pleasure as with their other models.
In terms of styling it will not look similar to its hatchback sibling. German designers will provide the 1 Series sedan with an all-new grille. Headlights and tail lamps have also been redesigned for a different persona.
BMW 1 Series sedan will mark its debut at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show. It will later be showcased at 2015 Delhi Auto Expo, prior to its launch in the market. Pricing and other details have not been shared and will be revealed closer to launch.
