It's Diwali time of the year and the best time for carmakers to sell more vehicles (to make up for lost sales?). In order to do that, carmakers will have to give discounts.
Discounts are like a bait, it will lure in customers since this is a very good time to buy cars for many. Being auspicious is one, and great discounts another, carmakers also make use of this opportunity and encourage customers.
So here are some great discounts on cars for November 2015, across the segments.
The Fiat Punto is on offer with up to Rs. 70,000 off. The breakup is, Rs. 30,000 off on cash savings, Rs. 25,000 on exchange bonus, Corporate discount of Rs. 5,000, and Rs. 10,000 as loyalty scheme for current Fiat owners.
Hyundai Grand i10
Hyundai is offering upto Rs. 70,000. The South Korean carmaker is giving an exchange bonus of Rs. 40,000, free insurance worth up to Rs. 22,000, and a cash discount of Rs. 8,000, which adds to make Rs. 70,000 in total. The offer is valid across all variants.
Chevrolet is offering discounts and savings up to Rs. 60,000 across all variants of its petrol and diesel Beat. Savings come in the form of Rs. 40,000 as cash discount and an exchange bonus of Rs. 20,000, if you feel Chevrolet is a better owner of your previous car.
If you work in a company that is listed by Tata Motors, you get a corporate discount of Rs. 2,000. If not, there are other discounts such as a flat cash benefit up to Rs. 15,000 and an exchange bonus of Rs. 20,000, which adds to a total of Rs. 37,000, if you come under the first criteria. There is no offer on the Nano GenX AMT version.
Renault is offering the Duster with up to Rs. 1.2 lakh off, depending on the model you chose.
Tata Safari Storme
Tata Safari Storme is on offer for Diwali with up to Rs. 37,000 off. These include the exchange bonus and corporate discount.
Fiat Avventura is available with discounts up to Rs. 80,000. Like the Punto Evo, the discounts include corporate, exchange bonus, cash discount and loyalty bonus.
Maruti Suzuki S-Cross
The recently launched Maruti Suzuki S-Cross is exclusively available through Nexa outlets with a discount of Rs. 90,000! The carmaker is giving an exchange bonus of up to Rs. 40,000 and cash discount of up to Rs. 50,000, depending on the model you chose.
Tata Motors has the Zest on offer with up to Rs. 47,000, including exchange bonus, cash benefits and Rs. 2,000 for employees of select companies.
Fiat is offering Rs. 60,000 as cash benefits, Rs. 15,000 as loyalty bonus, Rs. 30,000 in terms of exchange bonus, and Rs. 5,000 as corporate discount on the Linea. The Fiat Linea Classic, however, has no discounts.
If you have a car to exchange, Hyundai will take off Rs. 50,000 from the car's price as an exchange bonus. Also, a further Rs. 20,000 is offered as cash discounts. This brings it to a grand total of Rs. 70,000 off on the Hyundai Verna.
The E-Class gets a flat Rs. 6 lakh cash benefit on any of its variant.
The C-Class gets Rs. 2 lakh off from its retail price.
BMW 3 Series
The BMW 3 Series is available with a cash benefit of up to Rs. 8 lakh.
BMW 5 Series
The 5 Series comes with a benefits of up to Rs 5 lakh across all the variants, but only till stock lasts. Hurry.
A cash discount of Rs. 7 lakh is what Audi is offering with any of the A4 variants that are in stock.
