Bentley Names Its Upcoming SUV The ‘Bentayga’
Bentley has revealed at the 2015 Detroit Auto Show that their upcoming SUV will be called the ‘Bentayga'. Bentley CEO Wolfgang Dürheimer told Autoblog that around 3,500 units of the new car is the annual sales expectation, with over quarter expected to come from the US.
We've also just learned that the Bentayga will get plug-in hybrid and diesel variants in 2017, after a year with the W12 engine being the initial powerplant option.
It's garnered a big amount of interest already, with over 4,000 potential buyers listed, many of whom have already parted with deposits for the new luxury SUV.
The Bentayga is said to have evolved slightly after its first concept, called the EXP 9F, was revealed in 2012. Watch this space for more updates on the Bentayga.
