Bajaj Qute Or RE60 Is Only For Export Markets Currently
Bajaj Auto has been extensively testing their RE60 quadricycle in the country. It is expected to be a safer alternative to the autorickshaws that ply on roads currently in several countries.
The RE60 has finally been revealed and has been christened as ‘Qute'. Unfortunately this quadricycle will not be sold in Indian market currently and is only for export markets.
Production of Bajaj Qute has commenced at their Indian facility. The Indian made quadricycle has been priced at USD 2,000 or INR 1,32,250 approximately. Currently the Qute will be available in 16 countries, however, not India.
Here are the technical specifications of Bajaj Qute:
- Engine: 216cc single cylinder, liquid-cooled, DTSi closed loop fuel injection
- Gearbox: 5-speed manual transmission
- Top speed: 70 kph
- Fuel Efficiency: 36 kpl
Several individuals are expected to receive some sort of employment owing to Bajaj Qute. Currently auto rickshaws are a major form of transport within Indian cities, providing several Indians employment.
