Audi's Prologue Avant Concept
Audi's new styling and design is showcased very well with the Prologue Avant Concept from Audi, a practical, five door shooting brake model.
The car, which is to be revealed next week, during the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, is a follow up of Prologue Coupe from the LA Motor Show last year.
The Prologue Avant shares the same wheelbase as the Prologue Coupe, but it is a little longer, wider and taller than the Coupe.
The production version of the Avant will feature a 3.0-litre, turbocharged V6 TDI diesel engine and an electric motor to deliver a combined output of 449 horsepower. This will be able to propel the car from a standstill to 100 km/h in 5.1 seconds.
According to NEDC, the Audi Prologue Concept uses consumers 1.6-litre per 100km and gives a range of 54 kilometers on pure electric drive mode.
The Audi Prologue Concept will feature air suspension with adaptive dampers and dynamic all‑wheel‑drive system borrowed from the Q7.
