Audi & Castrol Edge Partner Together For 2015 DTM
Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters or DTM as it is popularly known as will begin from 3rd of May, 2015. Several automobile giants enter this competition to prove that they are the best.
Audi is a popular name in motorsports they take part in various events. They will be taking part in this DTM challenge as well. The German manufacturer had partnered with Castrol Edge in 2014.
They have decided to continue their partnership in 2015 DTM as well. Audi won the manufacturers title along with, Mattias Ekstrom and Mike Rockenfeller winning second and third place in drivers championship.
Dr. Wolfgang Ullrich Head of Audi Motorsport, commented, "With the victory in the DTM manufacturers Championship and the win at the Le Mans 24 Hours, we had a very successful partnership in 2014."
He further added, "I really would like to point out how great the partnership with Castrol EDGE is. We are working very close together and they give us all the support we need, true to the Castrol strapline It's More Than Just Oil, It's Liquid Engineering".
Audi's motorsport division will receive a special blend of oil for their race prepped vehicles. Taking part in race events also helps Castrol as they learn and develop their oils further.
