Aston Martin Lagonda Taraf: 200 More For Europe, South Africa
Aston Martin has confirmed production of the Lagonda Taraf for European and South African markets. The luxury sedan, which was initially destined for only Middle Eastern markets, will now be available in right-hand drive in the UK.
Only a very exclusive set of buyers will be able to own an example of the stunning Lagonda Taraf, with production restricted to a tiny run of 200 units for Europe and South Africa.
The new figure at the helm of the company, CEO Dr. Andy Palmer, said about the Lagonda, "Opening up the Lagonda Taraf to an increased number of customers around the world was a high priority for me as soon as I joined Aston Martin late last year. I wanted to be able to offer this exceptional saloon to the potential owners from around the globe who have been enquiring about it, and I'm very happy that we have been able to expand the Lagonda proposition."
The Rapide-based super saloon feature's the company's VH architecture, and sees extensive use of carbon fibre for its body panels. The car will be fully hand-built according to customer specification via the Q by Aston Martin customisation service in Aston Martin's Gaydon facility, a dedicated building previously used for manufacture of the One-77 supercar.
