Aston Martin & Letv To Develop Connected Electric Vehicles
Aston Martin and Letv have signed a MOU (Memorandum Of Understanding) for the development of connected electric vehicles. Both companies will work together on various research projects. The partnership they will explore connected car technologies through the production of electric vehicles.
The data collected through Aston Martin and Letv partnership could be used in Rapid E. Aston Martin plans on manufacturing its Rapid E model in Gaydon, Warwickshire. Advanced technological solutions will be utilised from global suppliers based in China and United Kingdom.
Letv will be offering its product development capabilities and engineering prowess. Aston martin wants to make use of advanced technologies for its RapidE model. The collaboration of Aston Martin and Letv was announced in April 2015.
Aston Martin will be providing its expertise in high-quality manufacturing of vehicles. The duo will also work on improving the feasibility of development through its research. The expertise of Aston martin will be utilised by Letv in the production of their electric vehicles for the future.
Connected vehicle is an integral part for future products. The British and Chinese Government are taking important steps to adopt zero emission technologies. Aston Martin and Letv will offer each other assistance through their own expertise for upcoming products in the future.
