Anand Mahindra Joins Formula E Sustainability Committee To Develop EVs
Anand Mahindra, Chairman, Mahindra group has been added into the Formula E Sustainability Committee. Along with Anand Mahindra on the committee will be Leonardo DiCaprio, Hollywood actor, Alejandro Agag Formula E CEO, and several other CEOs from other Teams.
The Sustainability Committee focuses on promoting and developing technology for urban mobility. Several global corporation is working towards a sustainable future. The committee will also address several environmental issues.
Mahindra has a strong global presence and is considered as an Electric Vehicle pioneer. The future of mobility comprises of 5C's which are Clean, Connected, Clever, Convenient, and Cost-Effective. Mahindra has research and development facilities worldwide providing best technology in their Electric Vehicles.
Anand Mahindra is honoured to be part of Formula E Sustainability Committee. He is focussed on improving the appeal of Electric Vehicles, especially in urban areas. Mahindra is focussed on developing vehicles for the future and development in Formula E will be utilised in street vehicles.
Mahindra Racing Formula E Team is part of Formula E Championship. Currently, the drivers driving in Formula E for Mahindra are Bruno Senna and Nick Heidfeld. Oliver Rowland will be replacing Heidfeld for a single race owing to an injury he suffered.
