2016 Range Rover Evoque Bookings Open In India Ahead Of Launch
The 2016 Range Rover Evoque bookings commence in India ahead of launch. Land Rover will be replacing the Evoque that is currently on sale in India. The British-based manufacturer will be launching the new model in sync with international markets.
Range Rover is most likely to launch the updated Evoque in India during November 2015. Pre-bookings has commenced through authorised dealerships of Land Rover across the country. The Evoque has witnessed success in several markets and is a popular model in India as well.
Initially, the 2016 Range Rover Evoque will be offered with a 2.2-litre diesel engine. The petrol engine options could be introduced at a later stage in India. This luxury premium SUV will be exactly similar to that on offer in international markets.
Rohit Suri, President, Jaguar Land Rover India, expressed, Range Rover Evoque has witnessed great response all over the world. India is no different and customers have readily accepted this unique vehicle from Land Rover stables.
This will be the second product to be launched in India by Land Rover during 2015. Previously the British-based automobile manufacturer introduced the new Discovery Sport SUV in the country.
Discovery Sport was launched in India with four trim options and only diesel engines. This model is being locally assembled in India at Land Rover's facility in Pune, Maharashtra. It is currently unclear if the 2016 Range Rover Evoque will be a Custom Built Unit (CBU), or a locally assembled product.
