2015 New York Auto Show: Volkswagen Beetle In 4 New Avatars
The 2015 New York Auto Show has commenced on 1st April, 2015. German automobile giant Volkswagen has showcased four new versions of their popular hatchback the Beetle.
Each of these four version of Beetle are unique and are still in concept stage confirm Volkswagen. There were rumours by the German manufacturer as they could end production of their iconic Beetle.
These four new models could be one last hurrah for the manufacturer. Volkswagen if decides to offer these versions, could sell it as special or limited models, thus adding sentimental value to them.
Here is a look at all four versions of the Beetle showcased at 2015 New York Auto Show:
At the recent New York Auto Show, German automobile giant Volkswagen showcased four new versions of their Beetle. They are as follows the Beetle Cabriolet Denim concept, Beetle Concept R-Line, Beetle Pink Edition and Beetle Wave.
VW Beetle Cabriolet Denim Concept Revealed!
The Beetle Cabriolet Denim concept gets a special stonewashed blue metallic paint scheme, along with a dark blue special fabric roof.

The very first denim inspired Beetle was introduced by Volkswagen during mid-1970s. They had christened it as the ‘Jeans Bug', the manufacturer followed it up with two jeans special Beetles in 1980s and 1990s respectively.
VW Beetle Concept R-Line Revealed!
The R-Line concept Beetle is their sporty version of their iconic hatchback. Volkswagen has provided this model with an ‘Oryx White Pearl Effect' paint scheme. They have also provided a sporty exterior kit to this concept vehicle.
VW Beetle Concept R-Line Revealed!
Under the hood of Beetle R-Line concept is a 2.0-litre TSI engine. This motor delivers 216.90 horsepower and is by far their most powerful engine in a Beetle. Within the cabin VW has provided sport bucket seat with leather-carbon look highlights.

Volkswagen is taking care of their lady buyers as well by introducing a Pink edition Beetle. This model is made for those who love attention and this Beetle will turn heads for sure. The exterior paint scheme is called ‘Fuschine Metallic'.

The bright pink exterior is highlighted further with the use of black, chrome and aluminium components within the cabin. In our opinion Volkswagen Beetle Pink edition is a style statement and will surely attract the style conscious buyer.

The Beetle Wave concept by Volkswagen gets a unique ‘Habanero Orange Metallic' paint scheme. It has been designed to reflect American spirit on East and West coast beaches of U.S.A.
VW Beetle Wave Revealed!
Volkswagen Beetle Wave is a convertible model, which further enhances the American spirit of this model. Designers have used genuine wood in a traditional surfboard style. The centre seat panels and several other interior elements have been inspired from 1950-1960s era.
No details have been provided when these models could be launched by Volkswagen. These four new versions of the Beetle have surely caught our attention and we will be eagerly waiting to hear more about them.
