2015 Geneva Motor Show: Rolls Royce Serenity Is Luxury Personified
Rolls Royce is the ultimate experience in luxury travelling, now they have decided to make their customer experience even more luxurious. Now at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show the British luxury car maker has revealed its Serenity model.
The designers have taken luxurious Rolls Royce Phantom Extended Wheelbase and made it even more luxurious. Their Bespoke division has given birth to their luxurious model called ‘Serenity'.
The Serenity borrows design element from Chinese Royalty. It features best quality silk from China, which was hand woven into 33 feet of fabric in Britain. The fabric has been hand-painted and embroidered with design of trees and flower blossoms to give it an unique look.
Giles Taylor, Director of Design for Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, commented, "It is imperative that we connect with these designers when their creativity is in abundance, fresh from university and design colleges. Cherica and Michelle bring with them a deep understanding of different textures and applications in design."
He further added, "When combined with the existing expertise of the Bespoke team we can reach new boundaries in automotive design, allowing us to incorporate precious, beautiful and natural materials in our motor cars."
Rolls Royce Serenity will be powered by the same V12 engine, which is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. The interior is where the designers have focussed most of their energy. Interiors use premium Smoked cherry wood, bamboo, Pearls and even Rubies to bring out a premium feel within the cabin.
