Yokohama Geolandar Tyres Now In India
Japanese tyre manufacturer, Yokohama has launched its range of Geolandar tyres in India. The tyre is specially designed for off-road purposes and is said to perform to its optimum level, even in extreme conditions. The mud terrain tyres will be offered by Yokohama in India for the first time and will sport the Geolandar moniker.
Takeshi Fujino, Managing Director, Yokohama India, commented, "Off-roading is increasingly becoming popular as a new weekend adventure sport. Specifically among young professionals and high net worth individuals. The Geolandar M/T+ has been built with many interesting features that makes it the best companion to do off-roading with."
Yokohama has designed the Geolandar keeping two things in mind: visual appeal and superior performance. The Japanese tyre manufacturer will provide only two sizes in India, 31x10.50 R15 and 33x12.50 R15. The Mud Terrain tyre will be resistant to punctures and cuts, owing to dual protection bars in the Geolandar M/T+.
