Volvo Eicher Launch Next Generation Buses In Bangalore

Volvo Eicher Commercial vehicle department has been working on new bus platforms. They have been attempting to build a more premium yet affordable bus. Their goal was to develop a more safe and comfortable experience for passengers, along with improved driving and better fuel efficiency.

The company has launched their new product that they have christened as Eicher Skyline Pro Series. These are the next generation buses by Eicher Volvo and are light duty buses. The next generation bus was launched in Bangalore.

Shyam Maller, Senior Vice President, Sales, Marketing and Aftermarket, VECV said, "The new generation Eicher Skyline Pro Series buses have been developed as per our philosophy of relevant modernization to continuously improve transportation efficiency in India and developing world thereby reducing cost of people transportation and increased productivity".

The Skyline Pro series bus will be available in three variants for different purposes. Volvo Eicher will provide school, staff and tourist models of their next generation buses. Seating capacity will vary and can accommodate 36 to 60 passengers.

Volvo Eicher has equipped this bus with their E-483 engine, which is popular for class leading fuel efficiency as well as low maintenance. The buses will also offer more leg room and wider gangway for easy movement within the bus.

They have introduced 36 new fathers in their Skyline Pro buses. A few of them are retractable seat belts for every occupants. It is also equipped with parabolic suspension, radial tyres and an unique low first step and floor height.
